Bargain priced equivalent to Whirlpool 8171434K Filter
We have a Whirlpool Whispure Air Purifier, HEPA Air Cleaner, Model AP51030K that runs continuously in our living room to help filter the dust, pollen and pet hair in our air. We've had it for just over one year and are satisfied with its operation, quietness, and effectiveness; it has made a noticeable improvement.
Filter replacement is required periodically - the air purifier provides a visual indication of remaining filter life on the control panel - and initially I purchased the Whirlpool 8171434K Large Air Purifier Carbon Pre-Filters, 4-Pack from Amazon. That package includes four of the pre-filters, comes in a Whirlpool box, and is clearly the "original equipment" replacement.
The Whirlpool filters are expensive (approx $6-7 each, or $24-30 total including shipping) and so recently I decided to see what lower-cost...
Excellent product
These are the same as the OEM but a lot less. They work fine and shipped very quickly. Highly recommended.
